ASICS launched their new Dynaflyte revolutionary running shoes at The Look Out, V&A Waterfront in conjunction with The Cape Town Marathon. 

To illustrate the appropriate slogan: Don’t Run, Fly, we showcased the hi-tec running shoes with Flytefoam technology behind a large glass panel on levitating shoe plinths – a first in SA.

The brand also wanted to launch their Pace your Race technology at this event so we created interactive apparel display alongside the shoes. We designed a space that delivered a strong brand message and where athletes could take time and interact visually with the ASICS apparel.

Running shoes were accessible for testing out optimum running performance. The unique brand activation elements included shoe displays, an interactive apparel wall which allowed runners to touch and feel the clothing, touch screens for product information, a Pace your Race activation which optimised runner’s performance, a MOTION ID and FOOD ID interactive area where athletes could assess their running style and find the running shoe.
