XZIBIT was selected from a list of arguably the top Brand Activation Agencies in South Africa by International Agency, McCann Worldgroup to propose a turnkey event activation for their Client Brand SA at the 2014 Investing in Africa Mining Conference.

With limited time between the brief and the event, the XZIBIT Team pulled out all the stops, in record time, to propose a solution, within budget, that we believe would have elevated Brand South Africa and their Associates to a level deserving of our country whilst similtaneously providing an experiential networking platform to encourage investment in the same.

Given the position of the pavilion at the center of the event and the level of exhibits at the same, the pavilion was designed as a double storey-networking lounge housed within large format graphic walling structures rigged from overhead trussing.

Features of the Pavilion included a Reception Area and Guardarobe backed by a large seamless Plasma Wall. A Fully serviced Coffee Café, Informal Meeting Lounges, Glass Enclosed Private Meeting Rooms, A Media Room and fully serviced Kitchen.

Exhibitors and their guests were to be welcomed by a Maître D before receiving accreditation and their meeting schedules facilitated in one of the respective meeting areas. So from informal coffees at the Café or Lounges to formal meetings behind closed doors, the design catered for all whilst providing seamless flow for both visitors and staff manning the stand.

This one, we loved and so to it seemed did our Agency Client and the lead Client, Brand SA to the point where we were asked to provide a solution for Event Management and Activation of the Pavilion. This, being a passion of ours was something that we tackled with Gusto. From Staff clothing to Food, Cocktails and a Performing Artist – this was a turnkey solution that we believe would have set the bar and provided the South African Government Departments with a networking platform to really boost our image on the international mining stage and importantly encourage investment in our country.
