This year marks our 20th year business milestone and for a change we held our own event at Cape Town’s vibrant new meeting place – Century City Conference Centre and Hotel.

Our theme, 20 Years of Storytelling, spoke of the many stories we’ve told about brands over the last two decades. Our design and strategic approach to our work adds value to our clients and their brands. We’ve told good stories, true stories and stories that connect and inspire people to engage.

It was great to connect with our clients, associates and suppliers in a relaxed, yet sophisticated environment styled on current interior trends with our own signature attached. Our guests enjoyed pre-event engagement with our LUMI event app that provided the event program, social media engagement andother information. The evening was filled with excitement and a spirit of gratitude towards the many people who have supported and partnered with us along the journey.

We set out to practice what we’ve preached about consumers connecting with brands in engaging ways and provided a touch of magic on arrival courtesy of our MC Marcel Oudejans. Then there was the bubbly presented by our bling bling hostesses, food, selfie-sticks, balloons, cake and entertainment by up and coming solo artist Jono Grayson and the very talented Manouche.

Guests viewed our structural timeline wall that depicted some key milestones since our incorporation in 1996. We ended off with our very own XZIBIT film, which was remarkably produced pre, and during the actual evening. The film communicates our service offering showing event pre-planning stages, operations and event management. It captures the essence of our philosophy: to use experiential marketing as a medium in order to form a memorable and emotional connection between the client and a brand.
